CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Charlotte Hornets have signed free agent forward Aleksej Pokusevski, the 17th overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft.
Terms of the deal were not released.
Pokusevski appeared in 150 games with 65 starts in four seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder, averaging 7.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 20.6 minutes per game. However, his playing time has dwindled with Pokusevski only playing in 10 games this season for the Thunder, averaging 1.2 points and 1.0 rebounds in 6.0 minutes.
He is the latest OKC player to join the Hornets.

Charlotte also acquired guards Tre Mann and Vasilije Micic and forward Davis Bertans in exchange for Gordon Hayward prior to the NBA trade deadline.
The 22-year-old Pokusevski played three professional seasons (2017-20) in Greece with Olympiakos, becoming the youngest player in team history to play in the EuroLeague when he played his first game at 17 years, 83 days. Between Olympiakos, Olympiakos B and Olympiakos U18, Pokusevski played in 39 games with 27 starts, tallying 10.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.8 blocks in 20.6 minutes per contest.
